Infographics & Our Survival Guide
We are currently working on 3 major projects.
1. Infographics: We picked and read 1 book from the "I Survived" series written by Lauren Tarshis. After reading the book we researched our topic even more using the internet (.gov;.com;.org) and documented our findings as well as our sources. We then explored programs such as ease.ly, piktochart, and infogram and studied several examples of great infographics created by professionals and kids too! Now we are in the process of using the program of our choice to create an infographic with information about the topic we chose to read and research! Our finished projects should be posted soon.
2. Survival Guide: We are working together to research and compile our own class Survival Guide! Each TAG class is in charge of one topic (Animal Dangers, Food, Water, Shelter, Survival Kits, Trip Planning and Preparation, etc). We are using books and the internet to master the learning topics and then will use our own creative minds to put the information onto pages that all together will create our class Survival Guide:) We will post pictures of our work in progress and please check back for pictures of our final products.
3. Faith Ringgold. Our Own Story Quilts.
4. Entomophagy Study
